Students with Disabilities

Students with disabilities, who need special education and related services, are found eligible when they meet the IDEA definition of a "child with a disability" in combination with state laws and regulations.  Click here to learn more about Special Education eligibility in Wisconsin.

If you are a parent of a child with a disability, the Wisconsin WSPEI project may be of service to you.  The WSPEI project helps parents navigate the IEP process by building partnerships between parents and schools so that students have the best educational experience.  The State of Wisconsin has developed the Introduction to Special Education Document to also help navigate the IEP process.
